What data Gupt stores
Gupt stores the credentials and metadata you enter (such as project names, environment names, and custom
fields) locally in your browser profile using chrome.storage.local.
What data Gupt collects
Gupt does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. The extension is designed to function without sending your credentials or usage data to any server.
Network requests
Gupt does not include analytics, tracking pixels, or background syncing. Any network activity you observe should be attributable to the page you are filling, your browser, or other extensions—not Gupt.
Exports and backups
If you use Gupt’s JSON export feature, the exported file is saved by you to a location you choose. You are responsible for protecting exported files (for example, by storing them in an encrypted location).
Third-party services
This website may load fonts or other assets from third parties. Those providers may receive standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) when your browser fetches those assets.
Children’s privacy
Gupt is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and publish the new version on this page.
